Over the years, we have built a strong team of highly skilled employees. With combined education, experience and commitment, we have been able to consistently offer our customers quality service, innovative solutions, and a superior product. IWL is a firm believer in the apprenticeship system. We employ only apprentice and journeymen steel fabricators and welders who are tested and certified by the Canadian Welding Bureau.

Our Personnel
At IWL Steel Fabricators we have professional engineers on staff who have expertise and experience in dealing with a variety of complex commercial and industrial projects. Using a combination of AutoCad, Solidworks and 3D Modelling (X-Steel), our drafting department provides accurate, detailed shop drawings for use in fabrication as well as site installation.

Quality
To ensure the highest quality output, IWL is certified to the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction Quality Management System (Quasar). This system is recognized as an authority on quality management, and is third-party audited annually. With this system, we are able to meet the most stringent of quality procedures demanded by clients. IWL Steel Fabricators is certified by the Canadian Welding Bureau to CSA Standard W47.1 - Division 1.

Communication
While our role in a project may be large or small, the importance of our ability to meet quality guidelines, deadlines, and other project specifications requires constant interaction between the customer, the project engineer and drafting to facilitate accurate design. Drafting in turn shares information with the shop floor to ensure customers' projects are fabricated exactly as requested.
